C. David Warnick, Vice President of Finance and CFO at The Gart Companies, is a graduate of Brigham Young University (B.A. class of 1968) and University of Utah (M.B.A. class of 1969). After graduating from college, Dave worked for Broadway Department Stores as an Accounting Manager and as an Assistant Controller. He has been a Controller for Plus Products, IRECO Chemicals and Mrs. Field Cookies and the Vice President of Operations for Staker Paving and Construction. In 1990, he joined Gart Bros. Sporting Goods Company as Vice President of Finance and CFO. In 1993, he left Gart Bros. and joined The Gart Companies. Dave is married with six children and 15 grandchildren, and enjoys fly-fishing, golf and time with his family.

Mark Sidell is President of Gart Properties LLC, and a partner in all of the company’s real estate investments. Mark received his undergraduate degrees in Construction Management and Business Administration from Washington State University and an MBA in Real Estate and Construction Management from University of Denver. Prior to joining Gart Properties in 1999, Mark was a principal with the Trammell Crow Company where he enjoyed a 14-year career in the Colorado real estate market. Notable accomplishments include the marketing, development and management of more than 3 million square feet of commercial real estate. As president of Gart Properties, Mark directs the operation of the company including an aggressive acquisition program and continued execution of niche development opportunities. Mark is married with two children and is an active volunteer serving on the board of several Denver community agencies.

Ketan (“Kat”) Jobanputra, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Sports Ventures LLC, has been associated with all aspects of the retail sports industry for over 25 years, beginning his career at Gart Bros Sporting Goods stores as a line-level employee,. Jobanputra has also served as Director of Sports Marketing and New Business Development at the Rocky Mountain News / Scripps-Howard organization, working with the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Rockies, and the Colorado Rapids. Jobanputra joined SSV in November, 1994. His responsibilities include management, advertising and promotions, distribution services, and loss prevention. Jobanputra has produced a culture of excellence in customer service, and employee loyalty and longevity throughout the organization.
